PALM BEACH GARDENS, FL – October 15, 2006 – Sonavation, Inc., today announced that it continues to fill out its management team and has hired Louis Regniere as the company’s vice president of engineering. Having both hardware and software responsibilities, Mr. Regniere will be responsible for developing Sonavation’s line of revolutionary biometrics fingerprint sensors. The sensors are based on a patented sonar imaging technology that will deliver far greater levels of accuracy to fingerprint sensors than currently available.
Prior to joining Sonavation, Mr. Regniere was director, engineering, for Renesas Technologies, Inc., a joint venture between Mitsubishi and Hitachi semiconductors divisions, where he was responsible for deep sub-micron mixed signal technology core development.
Mr. Regniere will report directly to Sonavation President and Chief Operating Officer Steve Mansfield. “Since our inception a few months ago, our primary focus is to fill out our management team with the most talented people in the high-tech field. We are making tremendous strides in finding the best people in the industry,” said Mansfield.
